It's April now. The sixth graders have graduated and many new students have joined Paco this year. The first lesson is nerve-wracking. First, we have a lesson on getting to know pencils.
A work created by experiencing the characteristics of four different types of pencils.
Choose a monochrome photo of your favorite animal, trace the shape, and express the monochrome world with the density of the pencil. Experiment with the pencil by changing the amount of pressure you apply, rubbing, or using an eraser to express thin whiskers and hair. It's easy to find the darkest and lightest parts, but the real challenge is finding as many gray colors as possible in between.
I hope that they will gradually become familiar with pencils and discover how fascinating they are.
