This month, I will be doing two sketches in a row. First, I will be doing a stainless steel cup sketch.
Make full use of all four types of pencils.
There are three main points to make here.
・An important number when creating a cylindrical look.
-Find the darkest place.
・Find the location of the handle.
When drawing, it is important to look at the motif and draw it, but there are some areas where that alone is not enough, and being able to "think" and "search" will allow you to apply it in other ways, and it will be a step towards being able to add shading however you like.
There are probably still some parts that are difficult for younger students, but even first graders are starting to do this, so it makes me realize that children's minds are really flexible and like an infinite box that keeps getting filled, and I reflect on the fact that I had been assuming that it was difficult.
During the drawing assignment, most of the children concentrate for about two hours, and there is a period of time when all that remains is silence and the sound of pencils. It is so overwhelming that it gives you goosebumps.
This time too, I was able to create a drawing that could only be made at this time.
